The brief for this room was for cosy tranquility. We wanted to achieve this without detracting from the amazing vaulted ceiling so maintaining a light colour palette throughout was essential.
The cosiness came through the beautiful textures of the deep rug, the subtle turquoise and silver wallpaper and the fluffiest of bedding.
Alabaster bedside wall lights keep the large bedhead wall more intimate.
The room originally was overrun with faux features including an ornate gothic inspired pelmet which was rather dominating so we stripped the space back to the properties original features.
New built in wardrobes with statement handles really added an element of luxury to the simple space and the artwork above the bed is the tonal contrast needed to complete it all.
