E-Design Service
Create a space that supports your well-being and matches your lifestyle with Studio Ember's e-design service. We focus on creating practical and personalised spaces that truly reflect you, ideal for anyone in need of design direction.
You will receive a design blue print for your project that will enable you to confidently implement the design within your own time frames.
Our in depth online consultation is followed by design development visuals, space planning, materials direction, curated sample pack and a bespoke shopping list. To ensure you can proceed with clarity, there is also a detailed written implementation guide.
The Process:

Fill out a contact form on the website. We can book in a 10 minute discovery call. If you are happy to proceed you will be sent a design questionnaire, terms and initial payment request. You will receive a measurements guide and must send over dimensions and photographs of the space so we can prepare for the consultation.

This virtual deep dive is when we can really connect with you about your requirements, objectives and aesthetic preferences. Speaking directly allows for an intuitive understanding of you and your home. We can ask key questions about the space and look at layouts, material selections and lighting, just to name a few. This is an information gathering session first and foremost.

At this stage the brief is written up and a design direction considered. Research begins to bring in inspiring elements to the design. Initial space planning is completed. Essence boards and initial colour palettes are created. A video presentation is created and sent to you for approval.

Once the brief and concept have been approved, work begins on the design details including product sourcing, sampling and final layouts. This phase includes annotated floor plans and elevations, mood board and any additional visuals required to communicate the design.

5 styling items are sourced with specifications and links. A pack of curated samples will be sent to for relevant products and materials.

You will receive a beautiful package that includes;
a written implementation and styling guide that will not only give detailed descriptions of the design rational, but also helpful tips to guide you through the project.
A print out of all the design visuals and sourcing list to easily refer to throughout the project.
A selection of curated samples.

Our house is a new build and we really struggled to give it any character... until Chess arrived! She completely opened up our eyes to how we could make our new and modern living room get some personality. She introduced different textures, worked with our select few, preferred colours and she even managed to make it all work around my Grandma's old armchair which previoulsy stood out like a sore thumb. Our living room was also a space for the children's toys and play area and we needed help combing these two uses. Chess helped us separate the space so we now feel like we have a grown up area alongside a space for all the kids tut - which now all has it's own place - dreamy!
